Job summary

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of industrial or civil construction experience.
• CSTS 2020, WHMIS 201, and Ground Disturbance 201 are required.
• Experience using compactors and trampers (jumping jack).
• Able to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) 9-23 Kg.
• Safety-conscious attitude and able to work with others in a team.
• Reliable means of transportation required.
• Proficient English language skills required.

Responsibilities

• Handle and distribute construction materials (load/unload vehicles, move tools and materials).
• Work on buildings, structures, municipal sewer and water mains, roads, dams, bridges, tunnels, railways and canals.
• Remove rubble and debris.
• Assemble and dismantle scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring and barricades at sites.
• Prepare and clean up sites, move materials and equipment, perform demolition, excavation and compaction.

Job Description:

• You have a safety conscious attitude and able to work with others in a team.
• A reliable means of transportation is required.
• Proficient English language skills required.

Education:

Completion of high school or equivalent is required.
