Qualifications

• Experience operating a grader on gravel roads and construction sites.
• Ability to read and interpret grade stakes, plans and survey markings.
• Physically fit for manual labour tasks and variable conditions.
• Basic mechanical knowledge to identify equipment issues.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily equipment maintenance and inspections.
• Safely operate a grader on public and private sites.
• Understand grade and slope requirements and adjust blade accordingly.
• Read plans and follow survey markers accurately.
• Communicate with surveyors, supervisors and crew.
• Maintain grade and finish within tolerances and ensure quality.
• Assist with excavating, backfilling and site cleanup.
• Follow safety procedures and company safety practices.
