Professional Excavators & Construction Inc. is seeking a skilled Grader Operator to support earthworks, grading, and excavation across Calgary and Alberta. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and efficient operation of grading equipment on diverse sites.

The ideal candidate has grader experience in heavy construction, and may hold Heavy Equipment Operator certifications. Willingness to travel to multiple Calgary job sites and work outdoors is required.

Formación

• Experience operating a grader in heavy construction.
• Fine grading experience is a plus.
• Senior-level grader experience is a plus.
• Valid Heavy Equipment Operator certifications or licenses preferred.
• Knowledge of safety protocols for heavy equipment operation.
• Ability to read construction plans and instructions.
• Physically able to work outdoors in variable conditions.
• Eligible to work in Canada and travel to Calgary job sites.

Professional Excavators & Construction Inc. is seeking a skilled Grader Operator. The Grader Operator will be responsible for efficiently handling equipment to support earthworks, grading, excavation, and other construction activities while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment including mainly grading machinery but could include excavators, Loaders and dozers to complete construction tasks
• Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure safe and efficient operation
• Read and interpret plans, blueprints, and job specifications to carry out work accurately
• Collaborate with supervisors and other crew members to maintain workflow and meet project deadlines
• Follow all safety policies and procedures to maintain a secure work environment
• Assist with equipment transport, site cleanup, and other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Previous experience operating a grader in a similar heavy construction role
• Experience with fine grading is a plus
• Senior-level experience as a grader operator is a plus
• Valid Heavy Equipment Operator certifications or licenses preferred
• Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices for heavy equipment operation
• Ability to read and follow construction plans and instructions
• Physically able to perform outdoor construction work in various outdoor conditions
• Eligible to work in Canada
• Able to travel to various job sites around Calgary as needed
