Job summary

Mastronardi Produce in Kingsville, Ontario is hiring a Full Time Grader to grade and pack products to customer specifications. The role requires night shift work at our refrigerated distribution center and involves maintaining quality and assisting with packaging to support a smooth operation.

The position is a permanent, full-time role on a 10:30pm–6:00am schedule, Monday to Saturday, with emphasis on food safety, teamwork, and reliable performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Related experience in food production an asset.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Grade and pack all product(s) according to company/customer specifications.
• Maintain product quality standards that meet specifications.
• Ensure proper packing material is used.
• Assist in packaging/washing setup to ensure smooth flow of product.
• Maintain a sanitized and organized department that meets food safety requirements (FS coordination).
• Follow all company rules and policies at all times.
• Respect all employees and project a good company image.

Job description

Our Kingsville Distribution Center, a 150,000 sq. ft. refrigerated facility operating 24/7, is currently seeking a Full Time Grader to join our team. The essential function of this position is to grade and pack all products to customer specifications. The individual is also responsible for a wide variety of duties including but not limited to this job description.

Shifts Available:

Monday to Saturday

10:30pm to 6:00am

Wage

$17.95 / hr

Primary Responsibilities:

• Grade and pack all product(s) according to company/customer specifications.
• Maintain product quality standards that meet product specifications.
• Ensure proper packing material is used.
• Assist in packaging/washing set up, as needed, to ensure smooth flow of product.
• Maintain a sanitized and organized department that meets all food safety requirements (work with FS coordinator).
• Follow all company rules and policies at all times.
• Respect all other employees and work in a professional manner at all times projecting a good company image.
• Must handle all sanitizing chemicals safely, as prescribed.

Position Requirements:

• High school diploma preferred
