Job summary

Mastronardi Produce Ltd. in Surrey, BC is hiring for a full-time, permanent position on a production line. Shifts Monday through Saturday, 7:30 AM to 3:45 PM, with Sunday and one weekday off. Wage is $18.25 per hour, with a refrigerated warehouse environment.

You will learn product specifications, sort incoming produce (peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers) to specification, and ensure only compliant product goes to finished packages. Previous produce or production experience preferred.

Primary Function:

Learn various customer product specifications, and work on production lines to sort incoming raw product (peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers, etc.) according to these specifications. This critical function is responsible for maximizing the usage of incoming product by ensuring that all product that meets the specifications goes into a finished package, while any product that does not meet the specifications gets properly sorted and separated.

Working Conditions:

• Refrigerated warehouse (40 degrees).
• Must be capable of frequently lifting up to 30 lbs.
• Position requires standing and walking for the entire shift.
