Mastronardi Produce Limited in Kingsville is hiring a Shipper / Receiver to join our 150,000 sq ft refrigerated facility, operating 24/7. The role focuses on accurate inventory movement, timely receiving, and labeling.

Shift is 11am–7pm, five or six days per week. You will operate a forklift, count stock, enter invoices, and uphold food safety and warehouse procedures. A high school diploma and two years of warehouse experience are required.

• Inspect shipments for quality and count.
• Enter invoices accurately into the computer system.
• Report any product quality issues to the supervisor.
• Rotate product according to size, date and quantity.
• Operate forklift to transport items around the warehouse.
• Organize warehouse so similar products are grouped together.
• Ensure proper storage of products back into inventory.
• Comply with food safety and warehouse safety programs.

Our Kingsville Distribution Center, a 150,000 sq. ft. refrigerated facility operating 24/7, is currently seeking aShipper / Receiverto join our team.The essential function of this position is to provide exceptional customer support through ensuring the accuracy of inventory movement and warehousing.

Shift: 11am-7pm 5-6 days a week

Wage: $19.20/hr

Primary Responsibilities:

• Receive incoming shipments in a timely fashion, properly date code and labeled.
• Inspect shipment(s) for quality and count.
• Entering invoices accurately into the computer program.
• Report any product quality issues immediately to the supervisor.
• Properly rotate product according to size, date and quantity.
• Operate forklift to transport around the warehouse.
• Promptly organize warehouse so that all similar product is grouped together.
• Ensure product or materials are returned and stored properly back in inventory.
• Ability to learn and develop a comprehensive understanding of Produce quality.
• Ability to follow allocations and load proper produce.
• Ability to follow all company food safety and warehouse safety programs.
• Ability to accurately count and review product in a timely manner.
• Ensure product or materials are returned and stored properly back in inventory.
• Ensure that all QA functions are being performed and documented in an accurate and efficient manner.

Education/Background Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of warehouse order selecting experience required, produce experience preferred.

Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to repetitively lift up to 30 lbs.
• Good communication and reading skills in English as well as basic mathematic skills.
• Experience operating a forklift.

Working Conditions:

• Environment includes an expansive refrigerated warehouse, where the temperature averages 50 degrees Fahrenheit. The background noise approaches 70 dcbs.
• Capable of lifting at least 30 lbs.
• Position requires sitting, standing, walking and bending on a regular basis.
• Must have manual dexterity to perform computer skills as needed.
