Job summary

Vincent Massey Academy in Etobicoke, ON, is seeking a dedicated Grade 4/5 teacher for an 18-month full-time contract. The role begins with part-time onboarding on November 30, 2026, then full responsibility from January 4, 2027, with flexibility to teach Grades 1–6 in 2027–28.

• Bachelor of Education with teaching certification in Ontario.
• Experience planning differentiated instruction aligned to the Ontario curriculum.
• Strong classroom management and collaboration with families.
• Proficient with educational technology and learning platforms.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver lessons aligned with the Ontario curriculum.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
• Create inquiry-based, experiential learning opportunities.
• Assess and document student progress using formative and summative methods.
