Job summary

Lora Bay Golf Club in Thornbury is seeking a reliable Golf Course Maintenance team member to support daily course upkeep. You will assist with mowing, bunker maintenance, drainage and turf care to ensure top playing conditions for members and guests.

Full-time and part-time seasonal positions run through October. Requires a driver’s license (G1+), ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays, and a strong safety focus while using turf equipment.

Qualifications

• No educational requirements; a turf grass management diploma/degree is beneficial.
• Experience in golf course or landscaping is an asset.
• Knowledge of maintenance equipment is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Golf course maintenance and setup for daily play.
• General mowing with handheld equipment; bunker maintenance.
• Repair wear and tear and inspect for drainage issues.
• Assist with turf establishment and cultural practices.
• Maintain golf course furniture and assist with projects.
