Job summary

Optimi Health, a GMP-compliant pharmaceutical manufacturer, seeks an Extraction and Production Technician (GMP) for its Princeton, BC facility. You will perform GMP manufacturing steps, operate and clean equipment, manage inventory, and maintain GMP records with training provided.

0–2 years in regulated production is ideal, with strong attention to detail and teamwork. Relocation and accommodation support are provided as part of the compensation package along with a competitive annual salary.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; a post-secondary certificate, diploma, or degree in a science or technology field is an asset.
• 0–2 years of experience in a production/manufacturing environment; experience in GMP or regulated setting is an asset.
• Basic understanding of GMP and GDP, or willingness to learn; strong documentation and data recording.
• Mechanical aptitude and comfort operating/cleaning production equipment; attention to detail in SOPs and batch records.
• Ability to read and follow detailed SOPs and batch records; good communication and safety-minded teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform GMP production steps (grinding, extraction, filtration, drying, blending, encapsulation, sampling, packaging) per MBRs and SOPs.
• Support API and finished product manufacturing including extraction and dosage form production.
• Conduct in-process checks and record parameters accurately in real time.
• Report deviations and equipment issues to senior operators or QA.
• Maintain GMP-compliant production areas through cleaning and line clearance activities.
• Complete equipment setup, operation, cleaning, and routine maintenance per SOPs.
