Job summary

Kibbi Technologies Inc. is seeking a Store Associate to support General Merchandise and Fashion departments. You will greet customers, promote products, locate merchandise, assist with purchases and resolve issues to ensure outstanding service.

You will help coordinate daily tasks, maintain department presentation, delegate coverage, assist with scheduling, participate in training, and uphold a safe, clean store environment in accordance with company policies.

Qualifications

• Age – 16 or older.

• Willingness to learn and adapt in a retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, promoting products, locating merchandise and assisting with purchases.
• Coordinate daily tasks as directed by store leadership and prioritize work flow.
• Assess department presentation and appearance; implement merchandising changes as needed.
• Delegate and follow up on daily Customer Availability Process tasks.
• Support with scheduling as needed.
• Assign associates to cover shifts across store areas.
• Participate in training and development of associates and provide feedback.
• Maintain a safe, clean, hazard-free environment following company policies.

Position Summary...

To assist in the leadership of General Merchandise and Fashion Associates and department processes through partnership with the General Merchandise and Fashion Assistant Manager and ensure a high level of customer service and while ensuring task completion.

What You'll Do...

• Job Responsibility #1 Providing excellent Customer Service by greeting all customers in a polite and friendly manner, assisting customers by promoting products/services, locating merchandise and making purchase decisions, resolving customer issues and referring concerns where appropriate.
• Job Responsibility #2 Assists in providing direction and the co-ordination of task completion as per communicated priorities from the General Merchandise and Fashion Assistant Manager and the Store Management Team.
• Job Responsibility #3 Assesses the overall presentation of General Merchandise and Fashion Departments and appearance, noting deficiencies for corrective action and executes merchandising display changes where required.
• Job Responsibility #4 Delegate, assist and follow up on completion of daily Customer Availability Process tasks
• Job Responsibility #5 Support with scheduling as needed.
• Job Responsibility #6 Assign Associates to support with coverage and availability tasks in all areas of the store.
• Job Responsibility #7 Participates in the training and development of the General Merchandise and Fashion Associates , and provides feedback as needed.
• Job Responsibility #8 Contributes to a safe, clean and hazard free work environment through adherence to Company policy and procedures, including the completion of safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure and free of debris.
