Base Salary: CAD $180,000 – $230,000 base salary with performance bonuses

About The Role

As we continue to expand our global presence and invest in product-led growth, we are looking for a Global VP of Marketing to lead our marketing strategy, scale demand generation and build a high-performance team.

This is a Senior Leadership role working as a part of the management team, overseeing a distributed global marketing team in Canada and offshore. The Global VP of Marketing will own our full marketing funnel, including strategic planning, content oversight, brand development, campaign performance, SEO and developer engagement, and will have the support of a VP of Marketing in Canada as well as with the offshore Inbound Marketing team.

You will work closely with the CEO, Sales, Marketing, Product and R&D to craft data-driven strategies that drive growth across markets, channels, and developer ecosystems. Our ideal candidate is someone who is technically curious with a bias towards action and results. You are analytical and data-driven but don’t get lost in the weeds and can empower others as a hands-on leader. Communication is key as you will be working across cultures and functions.

Location: This is a hybrid role based in Vancouver, and you will be working 3 days in our Gastown office (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday), and the other 2 days from home.

What You’ll Do

Strategic & Team Leadership

  • Define and execute a cohesive global marketing strategy that aligns with business and revenue goals
  • Drive developer-led growth strategies for SDKs and APIs
  • Lead a distributed team of 9 direct and indirect marketing team members across the globe
  • Align marketing initiatives with sales, product and content teams

Content, Messaging and Campaign Oversight

  • Guide messaging and campaign execution for key audiences
  • Oversee blog, video, email, SEO and landing page content with technical and non-technical contributors
  • Shape content around product releases, developer tutorials and case studies
  • Own and scale the global demand generation strategy across partner channels to consistently drive high-quality leads and pipeline growth

Performance Analysis & Optimization

  • Lead the team that monitors inbound performance using GA4, Power BI and HubSpot
  • Lead optimization of trial funnels, lead generation and conversion flows

What You’ll Bring

  • 8 – 15 years in B2B marketing, with a focus on SaaS or software industry
  • Bachelors in Commerce or Business Administration (or equivalent work experience) is preferred; Bachelors of Science or Computer Science is nice to have
  • Proven experience marketing to a developer audience and/or developer-led growth
  • Hands-on experience with analytics and tracking (GA4, Tag Manager, HubSpot, Power BI)
  • Strong command of funnel metrics (signups, downloads, activation, retention)
  • Comfort and experience working across global teams and asynchronous environments
  • Experience in developer-first and product-led growth organizations
