Job summary

WhiteWater West in Richmond, BC, is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to provide technical manufacturing support across our global supply base. You will ensure safe, consistent production aligned with design and quality requirements across composites, steel, theming and assembly.

The role includes new product introductions, process validation and continuous improvement, with travel up to 25% to supplier facilities and project sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Materials, Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of relevant engineering experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with PFMEA, Quality Control Plans, FAI, APQP, PPAP, process validation.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks is an asset.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Assess supplier manufacturing capabilities, equipment, tooling, process controls, and technical readiness against product requirements.
• Maintain the Supplier Capability Matrix with capabilities, limitations, risks and priorities.
• Provide design for manufacturing input and support development of methods, tooling, fixtures, and production processes.
• Support new product introductions, supplier transfers, prototypes, first article inspections, and production launches.
• Confirm production readiness with technical information, tooling, work instructions, and inspection requirements.
• Facilitate PFMEA and translate manufacturing risks into Quality Control Plans and test controls.
• Review work instructions and process documentation for technical adequacy and alignment with requirements.
• Investigate manufacturing issues and support containment, root cause analysis and corrective actions.
