Job summary

Hatch Ltd. is seeking a Principal Risk Specialist to lead risk management across client programs in the Project Delivery Group.

You will collaborate with Engagement Managers and regional teams to strengthen risk-informed decision making from planning through execution, aiming to reduce cost and schedule variability. The role requires deep expertise in hazard studies, quantitative risk analysis, and international risk standards, with the ability to travel to project sites as needed within our

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree in engineering or business; professional risk or project management designation desirable (CRM, PMI-RMP, GARP, PMP).
• Minimum 20 years in risk management and workshop facilitation.
• Expert knowledge of ISO 31000/31010 and related standards.
• Experience with bow-tie analysis and risk software.
• Proficiency in MS Office and risk management information systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop project-specific risk management plans.
• Plan and facilitate risk workshops and reviews.
• Maintain project risk register and action tracking.
• Provide timely risk assessments to Engagement Managers and Directors.
• Guide qualitative and quantitative risk assessment and risk treatment.
