Job summary

Hatch Ltd. in Mississauga seeks a Risk Analyst/Manager with 7+ years in process safety, technical risk, and project risk management.

Reporting to the Principal, Risk, you will support global projects from the Mississauga office, driving hazard studies and quantitative risk analyses in EPC/EPCM contexts. The role requires deep knowledge of risk processes, strong communication, and the ability to work with clients and multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• BASc/BEng or MASc/ME in Chemical Engineering or related field from an accredited university.
• Master's in Safety/Process Safety is an asset.
• 7+ years in process safety, technical risk and/or project risk management (EPC/EPCM preferred).
• Experience conducting HAZOP/HAZID studies and adapting risk processes to client needs.
• Experience with QRA tools like PHAST/Safeti; knowledge of LOPA/SIL is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain client relationships with Engagement Managers and Business Directors.
• Support risk planning for engagements and configure engagements in risk management systems.
• Lead or facilitate risk workshops and link risks to project objectives and strategies.
• Plan and facilitate hazard and process safety studies (HAZOP/HAZID/HAZAN).
• Perform QRA modelling and risk calculations to support design and safety decisions.
• Maintain risk registers and ensure data quality and traceability.
