Job summary

ProMach is seeking a Project Engineering Manager to lead complex packaging automation projects for global CPG clients. You will coordinate with mechanical and electrical engineers, review drawings, and drive successful project delivery from conception through start-up.

The role requires a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering (or CET), 6–10 years in project management, strong CAD skills (AutoCAD), and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or CET; 6–10 years in engineering and project management in packaging/automation.
• PMP designation is an asset but not required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Experience with line layouts and mechanical design; AutoCAD proficiency.
• Proficiency with 2D and 3D CAD systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for key global clients in CPG.
• Provide technical expertise related to packaging systems.
• Lead project team including mechanical and electrical engineers; coordinate with production.
• Create and review installation documents, BOMs, drawings, and layouts.
• Ensure projects are on time and within budget; manage changes and negotiations.
