Job summary

Canopy Growth is seeking a Network Systems Administrator to design, implement, support, and continuously improve our global network and infrastructure. The role is remote-based out of Ottawa, Ontario, with responsibility for layer 2/3 switching, wireless, VPN, WAN, and firewall platforms.

You will own day-to-day network operations, coordinate with Cyber Security, Modern Workplace, Cloud Engineering, and Service Desk, and support virtualization, cloud, and enterprise services.

Qualifications

• 3+ years supporting enterprise network environments.
• 3+ years of systems administration experience.
• Experience with multi-site organizations.
• Experience managing firewall, switching, wireless, and VPN technologies.
• Experience supporting virtualization platforms.
• Experience working in hybrid cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Own enterprise networking design and day-to-day operations.
• Lead upgrades, migrations, and modernization projects.
• Maintain firewall, switch, and wireless infrastructure and monitoring.
• Support Windows Server, Linux, Hyper-V, and VMware environments.
• Collaborate with Cyber Security and Cloud teams for secure, scalable services.
• Participate in on-call rotations and disaster recovery testing.
