Magna Mechatronics, Mirrors & Lighting in Newmarket, Ontario seeks a Group Controller to lead financial stewardship across multi-plant operations. You will drive month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls while partnering with sales, engineering, and operations to improve margins and efficiency.

The role emphasizes governance, cost accounting, and the modernization of reporting with Power BI and AI-enabled analytics. A CPA and extensive manufacturing experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• CPA or equivalent designation preferred.
• 7+ years in finance/accounting with controllership in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead group-level financial stewardship across multi-plant operation.
• Support month-end, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Develop and modernize reporting dashboards and analytics.
