Job summary

A leading media and communications firm in Canada is seeking an M&A Legal Counsel to support portfolio acquisitions and manage legal documentation. The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and proven experience in M&A at a national/international law firm. This full-time role includes drafting agreements and maintaining relationships with partners.

Qualifications

• Excellent language communication skills (written and verbal) in English.
• Strong M&A experience at a national/international law firm.
• Experience with M&A in software, technology, and/or telecommunication sectors is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and administer transaction agreements.
• Perform all aspects of legal due diligence.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with business partners.
