Job summary

Thomson Reuters is seeking an Assistant General Counsel, Litigation to manage a broad, global disputes portfolio for a leading technology and information solutions company.

You will oversee commercial litigation across jurisdictions, including IP, privacy, antitrust, and other high‑stakes disputes, collaborating with business leaders and outside counsel in a fast‑paced AI‑driven environment.

Qualifications

• J.D. and admission to practice in at least one U.S. state.
• 5–10+ years of post‑qualification experience in managing commercial litigation or arbitration.
• Technology‑forward mindset embracing emerging legal tech, including AI and eDiscovery.

Responsibilities

• Manage a broad portfolio of commercial disputes and litigation globally.
• Lead IP enforcement, including copyright and related rights.
• Direct class action defense, including antitrust and privacy claims.
• Develop litigation strategy aligned with business objectives, budgeting and risk analysis.
• Instruct and oversee outside counsel worldwide; oversee eDiscovery workflows.
• Respond to subpoenas, regulatory requests and third‑party information demands.
