Job summary

Reporting to the Manager of Global Learning Opportunities, you will recruit and supervise student staff, maintain communications, analyze program data, and contribute to strategic planning,

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in related field.
• 3+ years of experience in student affairs or related field.
• Commitment to Indigenization, equity, diversity, inclusion, accessibility, and anti-racism.
• Experience advising students in educational, intercultural, or international learning environments.
• Experience developing, delivering, and evaluating student programs and events.
• Experience recruiting, training, supervising student staff or volunteers.
• Knowledge of international education and study abroad processes.
• Intercultural competency and ability to work with diverse student populations.
• Experience collecting and analyzing data for program evaluation.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide front-line advising and support to students exploring study abroad and exchange opportunities.
• Develop and deliver student engagement initiatives, including orientations, workshops, and events.
• Recruit, train, and supervise student staff and Peer Helpers.
• Maintain communications and resources supporting global learning programs (website, SharePoint, social media).
• Oversee program administration including planning, assessment, reporting, and strategic planning.
