Job summary

Corinex Communications Corp. in Vancouver is seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist to provide technical support for employees on-site and remotely, maintain our IT infrastructure, servers, VMs, and security systems.

You will manage Linux and Windows Server environments, VMware ESXi, and network equipment, ensuring reliable operations, security, and performance. Travel to customer sites or other offices may be required.

Qualifications

• 3a years of experience in IT support, system administration, or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows Server environments.
• Hands-on virtualization and network admin experience.
• Familiarity with software licensing, asset management.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to employees globally, including setup.
• Manage VM provisioning and maintenance (VMware ESXi).
• Administer Linux and Windows Server environments.
• Manage Cisco switches/routers, pfSense, and network infrastructure.
• Maintain security, backups, and disaster recovery.
• Travel to customer sites as required.
• Oversee software licenses and asset management.
• Ensure confidentiality of data.
