Job summary

OpenText in Mississauga is seeking an experienced Sourcing Lead to own end-to-end IT sourcing initiatives, including category assessment, RFx planning, and contract negotiations, partnering with senior leaders.

You will build trusted advisor relationships, drive cost optimization, and oversee vendor performance while aligning procurement strategies with business goals across the global organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; MBA/Engineering/Supply Chain preferred.
• 5+ years in strategic sourcing or category management.
• Strong ethics, accountability, and professionalism in sourcing.
• Proven leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Extensive IT Category Management experience and sourcing knowledge.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills; proficiency in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Build and strengthen relationships with key IT stakeholders.
• Develop and implement IT category management strategies.
• Lead end-to-end RFx strategy, planning, and execution.
• Negotiate contracts and manage supplier selection.
• Drive supplier performance and cost optimization.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to deliver strategic outcomes.
