The Strategy Manager is a core member of lululemon's Global Fulfillment Strategy team, responsible for both the analytical rigor and strategic execution that underpin fulfillment strategy and network investment decisions across the Global Fulfillment portfolio. This role operates across the full spectrum of the team’s mandate - from building and maintaining quantitative models that inform long-range network decisions, to developing executive-ready strategic deliverables and coordinating across a complex set of cross-functional partners. The Strategy Manager works within defined workstreams set by the Manager, bringing both analytical precision and structured thinking to high-visibility work that regularly reaches VP+ audiences across the enterprise.

  • Lead Functional Strategy program for 2-3 assigned fulfillment capability and/or regional functions - tracking progress, consolidating inputs, facilitating workshops and generating executive deliverables for leadership.
  • Synthesize functional strategy outputs into portfolio-level summaries and cross-functional themes to define the enterprise’s Global Fulfillment Strategy.
  • Build and maintain network and capacity models to support long-range network strategy, scenario analysis, and investment evaluation across global distribution network.
  • Develop quantitative frameworks to assess trade-offs across owned DC, 3PL, and hybrid fulfillment configurations - including storage capacity, throughput, and cost-to-serve dimensions.
  • Support ad-hoc Network Strategy workstreams with modeling updates, scenario analyses and strategic recommendations as network size and complexity scales.
  • Gather and interpret the enterprise’s long-range growth and demand plans by market, channel and product category to assess implications for Global Fulfillment’s capability and regional fulfillment functions.
strategic discovery & business case development
  • Develop financial and cost-benefit modeling to support business case development for new and continuing Global Fulfillment strategic initiatives.
  • Generate business cases for strategic initiatives - illustrating CapEx, OpEx, and Cost Savings - to secure leadership approval, prioritization and funding as part of Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and in-year portfolio budgeting processes.
  • Responsible for ensuring that strategic initiatives are clearly defined, aligned, and appropriately prioritized to effectively support Global Fulfillment’s multi-year portfolio and functional strategy.
  • Partner with Portfolio Management and Enterprise Planning stakeholders to ensure portfolio and strategy alignment.
cross-functional coordination & project support
  • Partner with Global Fulfillment functions - including Distribution, Logistics, Trade, 3PL and regional fulfillment teams - to gather data inputs, validate assumptions, and align on analytical outputs supporting functional strategy, long-range planning and ad-hoc fulfillment imperatives.
  • Develop cross-functional relationships with enterprise teams - including FP&A, MP&A, Supply Chain Strategy, Channel partners, Technology, etc. - to inform Global Fulfillment requirements, communicate dependencies, and support enterprise initiatives.
  • Contribute to presentations and deliverables for VP+ audiences by preparing supporting analyses, data visualizations and strategic recommendations for leadership consideration.
