McCain Foods in Toronto is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst, Global FP&A, to join the Global FP&A team. The role reports to the Director, Global FP&A and supports consolidated financial planning, forecasting, and performance reporting across the organization.

You will analyze key metrics, drive insights, and assist in automation initiatives. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in a related field, 4+ years in financial analysis/FP&A, and strong Excel/PowerPoint skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related discipline.
• CPA designation and/or MBA preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, accounting, or related finance function.
• Strong technical and analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and consolidation processes.

Responsabilités

• Provide analytical support for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting across the global business.
• Support the consolidation of global financial plans, including annual operating commitments, quarterly forecasts, and long-term plans.
• Partner with regional and country finance teams to gather insights, validate assumptions, and monitor forecast performance.
• Assist in planning and analysis of global functions, identifying performance trends and key drivers.
• Develop and consolidate balance sheet and cash flow forecasts, including consolidated adjustments and reporting requirements.
• Produce and analyze consolidated financial metrics and KPIs (ROIC, RONA, etc.).
• Support executive presentations, Board materials, and quarterly business reviews for senior leadership.
• Develop standardized reporting templates and planning tools to improve consistency and efficiency.
• Contribute to automated reporting solutions and finance process improvements using analytics and AI-enabled tools.
