Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Communications Lead for Leadership & Functional Communications to design and deliver strategic communications that align with our Global Strategy. You will partner with functional services leaders, shaping messages that connect our people to Stantec’s purpose and brand across the organization.

The role focuses on company-wide communications for Health, Safety, Security, Environment; and Growth & Innovation.

Qualifications

Post-secondary degree in communications, PR, English, journalism, or marketing preferred.
7+ years progressive experience in communications for large, complex organizations.
Experience in a leadership communications context is an asset.

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver impactful communications plans and campaigns across channels.
Collaborate with leaders and partners to align practices with business goals.
Create content for email, intranet, thought leadership, and video briefs.
Understand audience needs and language considerations to target messages effectively.
Build trusted relationships with leaders and internal partners.
Identify key issues and craft messages from multiple sources.
Communicate with purpose to inform, engage, and drive behavior change.
Manage multiple priorities with quality and accuracy.
Monitor and measure communications across channels to inform decisions.
Collaborate with global marketing, comms, and PR teams.
