Job summary

RBC's Internal Audit group in Toronto is seeking an Audit professional to support assurance projects and assess credit-related controls across Commercial Markets and Group Risk Management platforms.

You will gain exposure to RBC products and services, and work with data analytics teams to enhance audit effectiveness while building relationships with business partners in a dynamic, high-performing environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ relevant industry experience in a financial institution.
• Strong foundation in credit risk management.
• Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, business administration or any other relevant discipline.
• Good understanding of risk and control concepts for wholesale credit products and services.
• Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and technical writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute audits per annual plan with documented evidence.
• Assess effectiveness of internal controls, risk management and governance to draw audit conclusions.
• Draft Detailed Issues Memo and recommendations to Senior Manager.
• Identify key risks and potential business impacts.
• Collaborate with Data Analytics Lead to apply advanced analytics in audits.
• Build relationships with Internal Audit peers and business partners.
