Within this group, the North American Subsidiary Banking team covers the North American subsidiaries of global multinational companies headquartered in EMEA, APAC, and LATAM, across various sectors. We help our clients meet their objectives and challenges in financing, risk management, working capital, investments, and cash management. Clients benefit from dedicated coverage provided by experienced Regional Subsidiary Bankers and Payments Sales Managers, who deliver the firm's extensive product platform in North America. We leverage the presence of JPMorgan Chase in more than 60 countries worldwide and the bank's capital strength to help clients grow their business. As part of the firm's plans to expand its international banking franchise, the Global Corporate Bank offers exciting opportunities. We are currently recruiting for a Global Corporate Banking Subsidiary Banking Analyst in North America, based in Toronto.

    Working in a team environment, the Analyst will have access to senior officers of the firm and senior clients. They will be challenged to perform at high levels of excellence and will be rewarded for their achievements in a demanding environment. The Analyst will work alongside other professionals, drawing on the firm's resources to develop customized financial solutions that meet each client's needs. Responsibilities include supporting Bankers with sales and relationship management activities, managing internal processes for deal execution, approvals, and regulatory reporting.

    Job Responsibilities :

    • Assist Regional Subsidiary Bankers in managing existing client relationships and developing new ones to drive revenue growth.
    • Coordinate with partners across the firm to develop proficiency across all banking products, including Payments, Markets, Asset Management, Credit, DCM, FX, Rates, Commodities, and Investor Services.
    • Prepare customized pitch books and marketing materials to generate new business and review existing relationships, understanding clients’ cash management structures and objectives.
    • Partner with Bankers and Payments Sales Managers on new bids, including RFPs, leading with pricing and profitability models, and assisting with finalization and documentation.
    • Prepare internal approval documents such as credit memos and balance sheet committee models; support credit approval and documentation processes.
    • Maintain internal reports, monitor revenue trends monthly, and work with Finance and Business Management to ensure accurate deal tracking.
    • Conduct industry, credit, and company analysis by reviewing financial statements and investor presentations to identify trends and communicate them effectively.
    • Support pricing analyses and develop pricing strategies, especially for RFPs and new client requests.
    • Help maintain existing business through high customer satisfaction.
    • Partner with Relationship Management Professionals on client onboarding and KYC processes to ensure compliance.
    • Lead ad-hoc projects and analyses as needed.

    Required Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities :

    • Bachelor's degree with outstanding academic credentials.
    • 1-2 years of professional experience; experience in Corporate Banking, Investment Banking, Credit, or Payments is a plus.
    • Self-motivated, dependable, intelligent, and a team player.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex problems.
    • Strong time management, organization, and planning skills.
    • Ability to build and mobilize internal networks and resources.
    • Strong quantitative, analytical, and computer skills, including PowerPoint and Excel modeling.
    • Familiarity with Morgan processes and products.
    • Proficiency with research tools such as Bloomberg and Factset.
