Job summary

GlassRatner Canada seeks a Chief Operating Officer to lead manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, logistics, service, facilities and operational excellence. The role reports to the CEO and focuses on translating an ambitious growth plan into a scalable operating model for global markets.

The COO will engage deeply with engineering, external partners and the production floor to ensure quality, reliability and on-time delivery while building a high-performing, cross-functional operations

Qualifications

• Seasoned operations executive with significant experience in a regulated medical technology environment.
• Track record of scaling complex, regulated operations while leading multiple operations functions through growth and change.
• Strong leadership across manufacturing, supply chain, service and quality with an operations excellence mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company's operational strategy aligned with long-term growth objectives.
• Provide executive leadership across manufacturing, production planning, supply chain, sourcing, procurement, inventory, warehousing, logistics and service operations.
• Lead strategic relationship with contract manufacturing partners, including capacity planning and scaling new products into full-rate production.
• Establish operational KPIs and performance management systems to drive continuous improvement and profitability.
• Oversee production operations to meet quality, regulatory, delivery and cost objectives.
• Partner with Engineering, Quality and Sales on new product introductions and transfers.
• Strengthen supply chain resilience through strategic sourcing and contingency planning.
• Oversee global service and customer support operations and expand service revenue.
