Job description

Analysis of Performance : Collaborate with Business Unit Controlling teams to prepare monthly analysis highlighting key business development, trends and outlook of financial performance, enhancing reporting and forecasting accuracy based on big data.

KPI Preparation : Prepare an overview of key performance indicators (KPIs) to explain the value drivers of the division financial and operational performance.

Reporting for the Division PM : Responsible for the monthly reporting of PM results to the division's management, as well as BASF Global Executive Team, Ressort Head, and act as liaison to Corporate Finance and Investor Relations units.

Drive Continuous Improvement : Lead efforts to improve PM's reporting landscape in various platforms, harnessing Artificial Intelligence capabilities and ensure all reports requested by Corporate are accurately aligned with PM’s internal requirements.

Excellence in Analysis : Continuously enhance the analysis of operational performance and evaluate new concepts and methods for improving forecast accuracy and efficiency.

Reporting Compliance Checks : Regularly verify compliance with reporting guidelines and follow up on critical aspects of reporting.

Project Management : Work with Controlling Services at the Hubs to streamline reporting processes sustainably within PM, aligning requirements and coordinating activities for Reporting Excellence.

Risk Management : Manage the Risk Management process in PM, including all related preparations and necessary alignments with Business Units Leadership.

WHAT YOU OFFER

  • A UAS / University degree in business administration or economics is required.
  • At least 4 years of professional experience in a relevant field.
  • In-depth knowledge of BASF's internal structures and processes is essential.
  • Strong capability for abstract thinking and analytical skills, coupled with drive for success.
