Job summary

Amaris Consulting in Mississauga is seeking a Global Clinical Supply Lead to manage end-to-end clinical distribution for a portfolio of global trials. You’ll ensure timely, compliant product delivery to depots and sites, collaborating with cross-functional teams to support a diverse study pipeline with a focus on quality and efficiency.

The role offers hybrid work (3 days onsite) and a pathway to contribute to global distribution strategy while advancing operational excellence within a GMP

Qualifications

• Degree in Business (Operations Management or Supply Chain) or Biotechnology or related field.
• 2+ years in Clinical Trial Management, logistics, warehouse management, or supply chain disciplines.
• Strong knowledge of SAP/ERP systems.
• Experience in cross-functional, cross-cultural, and agile models.
• APICS and/or SCOR certification is a plus.
• Operational Excellence/Six Sigma/Lean training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage on-time delivery performance for network shipments to meet study requirements.
• Participate in Protocol Execution Teams (PETs) and Global Supply Execution Teams (gSETs).
• Resolve operational and system issues affecting on-time delivery with internal/external partners.
• Coordinate network depot supply with Clinical Demand and Supply Leader and partners.
• Lead cross-functional distribution-related projects and process improvements.
• Operate in the CLARA system with 1st- and 2nd-level diagnostics.
• Maintain GMP-compliant environment and adherence to quality procedures.
• Process event records, quality incidents, CAPAs, and planned changes.

Job description

We are looking for a Global Clinical Supply Leadto join our Global Clinical Supply Chain team. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end clinical distribution activities for a portfolio of global clinical trials, ensuring the timely and compliant delivery of investigational products to depots and clinical sites worldwide. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support a diverse pipeline of clinical studies while maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency, and patient focus.

Work mode:

Hybrid (Only 3 days onsite per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Manage on-time delivery performance for network supply shipments to meet study requirements and patient demand
• Actively participate and engage on Protocol Execution Teams (PETs), Global Supply Execution Teams (gSETs), and ad-hoc distribution-related meetings
• Drive resolution of operational and system issues impacting on-time delivery, collaborating with internal and external providers
• Execute and coordinate network depot supply in coordination with the Clinical Demand and Supply Leader and other partners as needed
• Lead and participate in cross-functional and internal distribution-related projects and process improvement initiatives supporting global distribution strategy
• Execute with the highest level of accuracy within the CLARA system, performing 1st- and 2nd-level diagnostics
• Operate within a GMP-compliant environment, ensuring adherence to established quality procedures
• Process event records, including quality incidents, CAPAs, and Changes (Planned Events), as applicable

Requirements

• Degree (BA, BS, MS, or MBA) in Business (Operations Management or Supply Chain Management), Biotechnology, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in Clinical Trial Management, logistics, warehouse management, or another Supply Chain discipline, preferably within the Biotechnology or Pharmaceutical industry
• Strong knowledge of and experience with SAP / ERP systems
• Experience working within cross-functional, cross-cultural, and agile organizational models
• APICS and/or SCOR certification is a plus
• Operational Excellence, Six Sigma, or Lean training is a plus

Expected Compensation Range:

65K The final compensation offered will bedetermined based on the candidate’s level of experience, skills, and qualifications, in compliance with applicable pay transparency requirements.

No Canadian work experience is required for this position. Candidates are encouraged to apply regardless of previous Canadian experience.
