Job summary

Amaris Consulting is seeking an experienced Analytical Method Transfer Project Manager to support a nearshore delivery team for a major pharmaceutical client. The role focuses on managing transfers within the Analytical Method Transfer platform, balancing multiple projects with strict quality standards.

You will coordinate cross-functional activities, ensure GMP compliance, and maintain project documentation while communicating with international stakeholders in English.

Qualifications

• At least five years of experience in pharmaceutical quality control, analytical methods or analytical method transfer.
• Strong project management and coordination skills.
• Solid understanding of GMP and pharmaceutical QC processes.
• Experience reviewing analytical data and performing or coordinating statistical analysis.
• Experience with change controls, technical documentation and project planning.
• Ability to work with international stakeholders in English.
• Strong organization and ability to manage multiple projects in parallel.

Responsibilities

• Manage analytical method transfer projects from kick-off through close-out.
• Follow the GQSOP 078 process and ensure project activities remain aligned with applicable quality requirements.
• Create and maintain project Gantt charts, milestones, timelines and deliverable plans.
• Coordinate risk assessments, equipment and reagent requirements, training and testing activities.
• Contribute to the preparation and review of key project documentation, including TTP, AMTP, AMTR and close-out packages.
• Coordinate analytical results, statistical analysis and issue resolution.
• Support change controls, project reporting and communication with stakeholders.
• Track project progress, dependencies, risks and actions across multiple concurrent transfers.
• Identify opportunities to improve templates, planning processes and ways of working.
• Collaborate with international teams to ensure clear communication and timely delivery.

About the role

Amaris Consulting is looking for an experienced Analytical Method Transfer Project Manager to support the development of a potential nearshore delivery team for a major pharmaceutical client.

The role will support the Analytical Method Transfer platform, which manages approximately 50 projects per year, with around 20 projects running in parallel and coordination across six Analytical Transfer Leads.

You will be responsible for managing analytical method transfer projects from initiation through close-out, while ensuring compliance with procedures and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage analytical method transfer projects from kick-off through close-out.
• Follow theGQSOP 078 process and ensure project activities remain aligned with applicable quality requirements.

Candidate profile

We are looking for a mid-level to senior professional with:

• At least five years of experience in pharmaceutical quality control, analytical methods or analytical method transfer.
• Strong project management and coordination skills.
• A solid understanding of GMP and pharmaceutical QC processes.
• Experience reviewing analytical data and performing or coordinating statistical analysis.
• Experience with change controls, technical documentation and project planning.
• The ability to work comfortably in English with international stakeholders.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage several projects in parallel.
• A proactive approach to issue resolution and continuous improvement.

The following would be considered an advantage:

• Experience with analytical method transfer processes in a pharmaceutical environment.
• Experience improving processes, automating activities or creating project templates.
• Familiarity with analytical transfer documentation, including TTP, AMTP and AMTR.

Working arrangement

This is a fully remote position open to Canada-based candidates.
