Job summary

Triumph Group of Companies is seeking a BIM Manager for Glazing to lead drafting, BIM modeling, and coordination across curtain wall and glazing projects. You will start hands-on, setting standards and templates, then grow into hiring and managing a drafters team as the glazing division scales.

Ideal candidates will have 5–8 years in glazing drafting, strong Revit/ BIM expertise, and experience with model coordination, AI-assisted drafting, and batch workflows.

Qualifications

• Hands‑on proficiency in VDC modeling and BIM software such as Revit, with advanced family creation and templates.
• Proven track record of developing, standardizing, and scaling Revit/BIM drafting workflows.
• Experience training drafters on standards and enforcing modeling consistency.
• Familiarity with model coordination platforms for clash detection across disciplines.
• Exposure to AI-assisted drafting and automation in Revit via APIs and scripts.
• 5 to 8 years of glazing, curtain wall, or fenestration drafting experience.

Responsibilities

• Produce and review shop drawings, fabrication packages, and BIM/VDC models for glazing projects.
• Coordinate with estimating and project managers to confirm scope and schedule.
• Run clash detection and coordination checks against related models.
• Set drafting standards, templates, and file structures for the division.
• Review drawings for accuracy, buildability, and code compliance before shop release.
• Lead transition between stick and unitized systems and extrusion design when required.
• Build hiring plan, job descriptions, and onboarding for future drafters.
• Recruit, train, and manage drafting staff as the division grows.
