Job summary

Durabuilt Windows & Doors is seeking a Machine Operator for the Glass Line in our Edmonton facility. The role requires reading specifications, identifying glass types, and maintaining safe handling practices in a fast-paced environment.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma, basic computer skills, and strong English communication. You will work with the continuous improvement team to enhance efficiency and product quality on the IG line.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Comfortable with metric units (mm and inches).
• Able to read specification sheets.
• Able to identify different types of glass.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong English communication, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Work with team to ensure high quality and efficiency in production.
• Identify PPE and ensure safe handling of glass.
• Report materials not meeting quality to Team Leader.
• Complete quality documents accurately and timely.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and recycle waste.
• Follow injury prevention policies and maintain equipment.
• Operate IG (insulated glass) lines.
