GitHub AI Consultant

Join our team as GitHub AI Consultant to guide enterprises on their journey to becoming AI‑powered organizations. In this pivotal role, you will help clients harness the combined power of GitHub and Copilot to transform how they build software, accelerate developer productivity, and embed AI into their broader digital strategies.

You will lead enterprise enablement efforts by designing and facilitating workshops, offering technical guidance, and shaping adoption strategies that start with GitHub Copilot and extend into an organization’s overall AI vision. You will work closely with engineering and platform leaders to deeply understand organizational needs, map GitHub Copilot’s capabilities to address specific challenges, and establish best practices for effective AI adoption.

Your responsibilities will encompass not only technical enablement but also comprehensive change management, ensuring that development teams are equipped and empowered to maximize Copilot’s potential. This will include creating educational resources, leading onboarding sessions, and providing ongoing support to drive sustained engagement and continuous improvement. You’ll collaborate cross‑functionally—partnering with GitHub and Microsoft field teams, enterprise account managers, and client solution leads—to align Copilot adoption with broader business objectives and digital transformation goals.

Position Responsibilities
  • AI Enablement & Strategy: Design and execute enterprise adoption plans for GitHub Copilot and related AI developer tools, aligned with business and digital transformation objectives.
  • Facilitate Enablement Workshops: Deliver engaging sessions on prompt engineering, AI‑assisted development, responsible AI practices, and workflow optimization.
  • Proof‑of‑Concepts & Pilots: Support AI pilots (Copilot, Agent Mode, MCP) to validate enterprise use cases and measure impact.
  • Drive Adoption: Partner with organizational leaders to embed Copilot and AI workflows into day‑to‑day practices, ensuring long‑term adoption and value realization.
  • Collaborate Cross‑Functionally: Work closely with platform, migration, and delivery teams to embed Copilot into broader AI transformation initiatives.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • 4–6 years of professional experience in software development or technical consulting
  • Strong development background in Java, C#, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Hands‑on experience with GitHub Copilot across multiple IDEs and GitHub.com workflows
  • Familiarity with Azure OpenAI, OpenAI API, or similar LLM platforms
  • Excellent technical communication and client‑facing skills
  • GitHub Copilot certification (preferred but not required)
Benefits
  • A culture that both wows our customers and employees
  • Variety of challenging projects, and the ability to work with leading‑edge technologies
  • Competitive salary & group benefits
  • Generous training and education opportunities
  • Diverse team social events
  • Be part of a team that believes in diversity, inclusion, and a fun atmosphere
