GIS Property Analyst - CAD Mapping & Land Records

Job summary

City of Windsor is seeking a Property Analyst to maintain graphic and tabular property information within the GIS and CAD environments. You will work with AutoCAD Map, Amanda, MPAC and LRO to ensure accurate descriptions and assessment data.

The role requires experience with property sales records, legal descriptions, and cooperation with Finance and Development teams. Temporary full-time position in Geomatics with 35-hour weeks.

Qualifications

• Must have OSS diploma and 3 years of post-secondary education in Legal Administration, GIS Technology, Civil Technology, Real Estate Property Administration or equivalencies.
• Must have over three years of GIS procedures, GEO references, survey practices and procedures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
• Proficiency in a computerized, networked environment.

Responsibilities

• Update all graphic property information in the Land Parcels Drawing of Record daily using AutoCAD Map.
• Maintain and update tabular property information in Amanda and related databases.
• Acquire and maintain records of all property sales.
• Input data affecting parcel fabric and tabular data in corporate databases.
• Liaise with MPAC and LRO regarding changes to property fabric and descriptions.
• Advise staff in Taxation & Legislative Compliance on changes to descriptions and assessment data.
• Create export files for weekly EIS updates and maintain weekly Land Parcels drawings.
• Prepare and maintain Excel spreadsheets and Access files to track changes.
