What You Will Do

The primary goal of the Strategic Account Manager is to function as a hybrid sales contributor for the national accounts organization. They will be responsible for securing new business at the national level by seeking new client acquisitions in security while also working on a predefined set of accounts. This role collaborates closely with national and global account managers across the country, working with local sales and operations teams to generate new revenue through service and installation operations.

How You Will Do It
  • Identify and win new physical security clients at the national capacity.
  • Collaborate with other teams and divisions within JCI to acquire new accounts and projects.
  • Discover new opportunities with clients and address their challenges using JCI's security offerings.
  • Manage activities of assigned security accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction remains the top priority, while working with internal teams to meet client expectations.
  • Develop and regularly update business plans to align with client goals and objectives.
  • Leverage sales tools (like Salesforce) to manage all aspects of sales activities and lead management.
  • Coordinate with global teams as needed.
  • Ensure all unique opportunities comply with the company's security programs.
  • Ensure full implementation, management, and oversight of company policies related to affirmative action and equal employment opportunity for all.
  • Adhere to federal, provincial, and local laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
What We Are Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree or CEGEP diploma in business, management, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in physical security systems and intrusion detection environments, with experience in key end-user relations.
  • Bilingual in French and English (English required for the national position).
  • Ability to travel 30-50% of the time.
  • Results-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent understanding of market trends, code compliance, and physical security codes.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
