Université de Montréal's Department of Literatures and Languages of the World invites applications for a joint position in German studies and Digital humanities. The successful candidate will teach across both fields and supervise MA/PhD students, building an innovative research program with CRIHN and CCEAE.

The Department of Literatures and Languages of the Worldoffers a range of interdisciplinary programs that explore a diversity of cultural and linguistic contexts and forms of expression. Our programs in German studies and Digital humanities are vital sections of the department. At the intersection of these two disciplines, the position is distinguished by its dual focus: to contribute fully to teaching and research in German studies in the fields of literature, language, and culture of the German-speaking world, while developing digital approaches applied to the subjects, corpora, and methods of the humanities.
