Job summary

St. Joseph's Health Care London is seeking a Personal Support Worker (LTC) for Mount Hope - Marian Villa 2nd Floor in London, Ontario. This one-position, day-shift role supports residents with daily living activities in a long-term care setting.

Applicants must complete a PSW certificate program, be registered or eligible with HSCPOA, and meet OHSA safety standards. Strong communication, teamwork, and physical capability are essential; CPIC clearance is required for successful candidates.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Personal Support Worker Certificate Program from an accredited education facility
• Proof of registration with the Health and Supportive Care Providers Oversight Authority (HSCPOA) (External Applicants Only)
• Knowledge of a Safety Culture in a Health Care Setting in compliance with the OHSA
• Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
• Ability to perform functions that require heavy lifting, bending, standing, walking, pushing, pulling
• Ability to work in a team environment
• A police record check completed within the last six (6) months from a Canadian Police Information Centre (CPIC), inclusive of vulnerable sector screening, will be required of the successful candidate
