Job summary

Join BBA Consultants as a Geotechnical Engineer to perform site investigations, analyses, and deliverables in the geotechnical field. You will support design and construction reviews, supervise lab work, and collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams across Canada.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of geotechnical experience, proficiency in FLAC, SLOPE/W, SEEP/W, and strong English and French communication skills for collaboration with BBA offices and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geotechnical/ Civil Engineering or Mining-related field.
• Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec.
• Five+ years of geotechnical engineering experience.
• Strong soil mechanics knowledge and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel to project sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead geotechnical site investigations and analyses.
• Review design and construction aspects of geotechnical projects.
• Produce and review technical deliverables and reports.
• Supervise laboratory materials testing.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
