Job summary

All Service Drilling (Part of the Geotech and ConeTec Group of Companies) is expanding its local Regina team and seeks a Drill Assistant to support drilling operations. You will prepare tooling, handle drill rods and cores, and maintain inventory for the rig and vehicles, working in varied weather conditions and remote locations.

This role requires a valid driver's license, 1–3 years of drilling experience, mechanical skills, and the ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.

Qualifications

• Must maintain and possess a valid Class 5 or 3 Driver's Licence.
• 1–3 years experience in geotechnical or environmental drilling is an asset.
• Have the mechanical ability to troubleshoot and repair small equipment is an asset.
• Complete and pass a pre-employment drug & alcohol test.
• Experience working in the field, in remote and/or varied weather conditions for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Continuously prepare and supply the driller with tooling and materials necessary to maintain the drilling operations.
• Handle drill rods and casing, core tubes and core samples.
• Maintain and organize inventory levels of necessary materials, supplies and tooling for the drill rig and support vehicles.
• Assist the Driller, client and other team members where required.
• Regular and repetitive lifts of 50-90 lbs.

Drill Assistant:

Compensation

$23.00 - $28.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
