Job summary

Wireline Services Group in Canada is seeking a Geoscience Manager to lead a small team of geologists and field technicians, coordinating planning and delivery of geophysical log data.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years as a professional geoscientist.
• Experience with wireline logging data (mineral logging preferred; oilfield considered).
• Wellcad experience highly desirable.
• Televiewer interpretation experience highly desirable.
• Proficient spoken and written English.
• Good problem solving and time management skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Experience working in a service company environment highly desirable.
• Familiarity with Canadian mine geology desirable.
• High level of computer literacy.
• Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical Assessment.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of geologists and field technicians to deliver geophysical log data.
• Ensure quality control, processing and interpretation follow workflows.
• Liaise with clients and internal teams to plan and deliver data.
• Attend client meetings and coordinate with field team for customer experience.
• Mentor field staff, conduct monthly audits, and improve procedures.
• Generate data reports and communicate data quality incidents.
• Support quoting and invoicing when required.
• Maintain safety culture and comply with regulations.
