McElhanney is looking for a Geomatics Intern to join our Major Projects team in Calgary starting in May 2027. This opportunity is available as a four-month summer internship for a current student. You'll gain practical experience supporting large-scale, complex projects while learning from experienced survey and geomatics professionals.
Working in both field and office environments, you'll assist with survey data collection, construction layout, quality checks, data processing, and project documentation. You'll gain exposure to the technology, coordination, safety standards, and accuracy required to deliver major infrastructure and development projects.
This internship is an opportunity to build your technical skills, confidence, and understanding of how geomatics supports major project delivery. You'll be part of a collaborative team that values safety, learning, and professional development, with meaningful opportunities to connect with mentors and other students across McElhanney.
As part of your internship, you'll gain exposure to a variety of geomatics projects and technologies while working alongside experienced professionals in our Calgary office.
The wage range for this position is $22-$28 per hour. McElhanney offers fair compensation that is commensurate with the individual's education, experience, skills, and professional qualifications.
