Job summary

Genesis Niagara is seeking a part-time valet driver to join our growing team in Ontario. You will safely operate vehicles, inspect cars, and assist guests while using an iPad for notes and photos.

The ideal candidate has a valid Ontario driver’s license, a good driving record, and strong customer service skills. Automotive experience is a plus, with a flexible schedule and supportive management.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Ontario Driver's License and a good driving record.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Automotive experience is an asset.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Operate vehicles safely and in compliance with traffic laws.
• Inspect guest and courtesy vehicles for damage at pickup/return.
• Record guest concerns and notes during pickup.
• Attend pickups/returns on time; drive during busy hours.
• Use an iPad to take photos and communicate with guests.
• Drive standard and automatic transmission vehicles as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Here's what you'll deliver:

• Operate vehicles in a safe manner, obeying all laws of the road.
• Carefully inspect both guest and courtesy vehicles for any damage on pickup and return.
• Collect required information and make note of guest concerns on pick-up.
• Arrive on time for pick-ups and returns.
• Must be good with Ipad and taking photos.
• Use of a personal phone to call guests on arrival at home/office.
• Must be comfortable driving during busy hours on all major series highways.
• Inspect guest vehicles to make sure it's returned to them cleaner than before.
• Other duties as required by management.

What you need to succeed:

• Must have a valid Ontario Driver's License and good driving record.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Automotive experience is considered an asset.
• Ability to execute tasks with minimal supervision.
• Possess exceptional customer service skills.
• Work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be reliable and able to work productively with minimal supervision
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• Demonstrated ability to drive both standard and automatic transmission vehicles.
• Manual dexterity required.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours and work around a changing schedule.

Job Type: Part Time - Permanent

Compensation (expected hourly wage): $17.95 per hour. The starting rate will be set within this range based on job-related factors such as relevant skills and experience.
