Job summary

Thales Canada seeks a Generative and Agentic AI Architect to lead the design and deployment of agentic AI platforms in Quebec City. You will collaborate with data scientists and engineers to build scalable AI workflows, define orchestration, and ensure governance, security, and traceability across complex environments.

The role requires strong architectural vision, experience with LLMs and AI platforms, and the ability to translate business needs into concrete solutions for enterprise systems,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, data science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in information technology, solution architecture, analytics, or digital transformation.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in AI initiatives, analytics, or automation.
• Experience designing complex solutions with multiple systems, integrations, and data flows.
• Fluency in French and English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Translate business needs into generative and agentic AI architectures aligned with organizational goals.
• Design, maintain, and optimize AI agent architectures and their interactions.
• Develop intelligent workflow architectures enabling automation of complex end-to-end processes.
• Define orchestration strategy for agents, including decision, escalation, and validation mechanisms.
• Establish performance indicators and governance for AI agents.
