Job summary

A regional health authority in New Brunswick is seeking a qualified MI-Generalist Sonographer to perform general ultrasound examinations under supervision. The ideal candidate will have an Ultrasound Technologist Diploma and certification as a Generalist Sonographer. Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved Ultrasound Technologist Diploma program.
• Certification as a Generalist Sonographer from Sonography Canada and/or ARDMS.
• One (1) year recent, related experience in a health care setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform general ultrasound examinations.
• Receive and complete requisitions, forms, and reports.
• Prepare and monitor supplies and equipment.
• Monitor patients during procedures.
• Operate ultrasound equipment.
