Job summary

Stella Jones in Montérégie, Canada is seeking a night-shift production teammate to operate hoists, move materials, and support daily manufacturing duties. The position offers a base rate of 22.26 CAD per hour plus a 2 CAD per hour night shift bonus, with a schedule from Sunday to Thursday, 11:15pm to 7:15am.

Responsibilities include training in Nesting and first part inspection, data entry, 5S maintenance, and collaboration with leaders to ensure ISO/OHS/LEAN compliance.

Qualifications

• Learn nesting and first part inspection procedures.
• Operate hoists and lifting tools safely per training.
• Enter production data into the computer system.
• Maintain 5S and keep work area clean.
• Follow ISO/OHS/LEAN procedures.

Responsibilities

• Do the Stella Jones Quality training: Reading and interpreting Nesting, drawing, first part inspection procedure, etc.
• Safely operate hoists and other lifting tools in accordance with training provided by a certified trainer.
• Load, unload and move products and materials, tooling and equipment manually or using material handling accessories under the supervision of an operator.
• Assist the Court Team Leader and/or the Man of the Court in day-to-day duties.
• Enter production information into the computer system.
• Learn the operations of a head-end machine under supervision if deemed competent.
• Perform secondary operations on different machines or departments per priorities.
• Use hand tools such as rotary grinding wheel, drill, punching machine, etc.
• Follow the first part inspection procedure at all times.
• Ensure daily filing form is properly completed.
• Ensure proper maintenance of your work area and maintain the 5S.
• Perform workspace cleaning tasks.
• Organize work to meet daily objectives.
• Comply with procedures and policies (ISO, OHS, DMS, LEAN).
• Perform any tasks related to or in accordance with abilities at the request of a superior.

RESPONSIBILITY

• Load, unload and move products and materials, tooling and equipment manually or using material handling accessories under the supervision of an operator.
• As required, assist the Court Team Leader and/or the Man of the Court in the day-to-day performance of their duties.
• Enter production information into the computer system.
• Learn the operations of a head-end machine under the supervision of an operator, if the team leader deems the person to be competent.
• Perform secondary operations on different machines or in different departments according to the priorities established under the supervision of an operator.
• Use hand tools such as rotary grinding wheel, drill, punching machine, etc. for the required finishing tasks.
• Follow the first part inspection procedure at all times.
• Ensure that the daily filing form is properly completed.
• Ensure proper maintenance of your work area and maintain the 5S.
• Perform all workspace cleaning tasks.
• Organize work to meet daily objectives.
• Comply at all times with the various procedures and policies put in place by the organization (ISO, OHS, DMS, LEAN).
• Perform any tasks related to or in accordance with his/her abilities at the request of a superior.
