Job summary

Aramark in Canada is seeking a part-time kitchen associate to support food preparation, meal assembly and service. You will reheat meals, help serve customers and manage transactions at the hot station, while upholding hygiene and safety standards.

The role emphasizes reliability, punctuality and strong customer service, with bilingual French/English considered an asset. Immediate start; 32 hours weekly with potential for a fifth day based on needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service or restaurant work is an asset.

• Greet customers courteously and provide excellent service.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, sanitation and food safety standards.
• Follow health and safety policies; cooperate with team members for smooth operations.

Job description

WAGE: $18.00/hour

SCHEDULE / HOURS: Tuesday to Friday, 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. (32 hours per week). Opportunity for a fifth workday on Mondays, occasionally, based on operational needs.

START DATE: Immediate

Job Responsibilities

• Perform general food preparation duties and assist with food service setup.
• Reheat and assemble prepared meals according to established quality standards.
• Participate in meal service and help provide positive customer experience.
• Serve meals at the hot food station for approximately 20 to 25 customers.
• Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately.
• Assist with dishwashing duties as required.
• Contribute to the general cleanliness and upkeep of the kitchen, service areas, and workspaces.
• Greet customers courteously and provide excellent customer service.
• Ensure compliance with quality, hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards.
• Follow all applicable health and safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Perform other related duties as required to support operations.
