Seaspan Shipyards in North Vancouver is seeking a General Supervisor, Electrical (Day Shift) to lead a skilled trades team on-site. The role focuses on safety, schedule, cost and quality while delivering on-pack shipyard projects.
You will collaborate with management, uphold health and safety standards, and ensure alignment with collective agreements. The position offers a competitive salary, bonus potential and comprehensive benefits.
The Trade Supervisor, Electrical is responsible for leading their team of tradespeople by coordinating and overseeing completion of trade activities within the Shipyard. The Trade Supervisor will ensure that projects are completed efficiently, safely and in compliance with all regulations and company standards.
The position reports directly to an Area Manager and requires significant interaction with Trade Management.
Note: Due to business needs, this position is required to be fully on-site based at 50 Pemberton Avenue, North Vancouver.

The estimated salary for this position is $115,000-$127,000. In determining final salary, Seaspan considers many factors including the successful Candidate’s skillset and experience as well as position location and internal equity. The final base salary offer will be at the Company’s sole discretion and presented as part of a competitive total compensation package

This position may involve defense articles and/or technical data regulated by the U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (“ITAR”) and the U.S. Arms Export Control Act. In compliance with ITAR, the successful candidate will be subject to a security clearance through the Canadian Controlled Goods Program as regulated by the Controlled Goods Regulations and Defense Production Act. The successful candidate will be required to maintain their security clearance throughout the employment in this position.
