Aerotek in Markham, Ontario is hiring assemblers for our mechanical assembly team. This contract role involves small-scale manual and mechanical assembly, reading assembly documents in English, and using hand tools and torque drivers onsite.

Ideal candidates have at least 6 months of assembly experience, can lift up to 25 lbs, and work well under tight deadlines. The position is fully onsite in Markham with potential for extension and growth within a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Job Description

We are seeking a General Production Worker for our mechanical assembly team. This role involves small-scale mechanical and manual assembly tasks. Ideal candidates will have experience in assembly processes and be comfortable with using various hand tools and torque drivers.

Responsibilities

• Perform small mechanical assembly tasks without heavy lifting.

• Utilize hand tools and torque drivers effectively.

• Read and comprehend assembly documents in English.

• Through-hole manual assembly responsibilities.

• Maintain production efficiency in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 6 months experience in mechanical assembly.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
