Cam Tran in Spruce Grove, AB is seeking General Production Operators for the Day shift. This full-time permanent role involves learning multiple departments, operating machines, prepping materials, and assembling components for transformer products.

Qualifications:

• High Attention to Detail - verify accuracy of relevant information located on the sticker on the coil. You need to make sure the dimensions are as exact, with the tolerance only being +/3/8\" or the coil will be no good
• Evaluating Information to Determine with Standards - Using relevant information and individual judgement to determine pack out of the coil with Masonite to meet the specifications
• Inspecting Equipment or Material: Inspecting equipment and the quality of the coil press
• Manual Dexterity - Paying close attention to when you are inserting a wedge that you are cautious to avoid injury to hands
• High Level of Accuracy - Record bake cycle times and verify the specifications as per the sticker
• Lifting and Pushing - Coils, metal plates and wedges

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to remain standing in a stationary position for extended periods
• Capable of lifting and carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds
• Able to perform moderate physical activities, including frequent handling and movement of materials, use of hands and arms, and operation and positioning of equipment
• Frequent pushing and pulling of objects as part of daily tasks
